Privacy Policy

Sixth is an intuition and "sixth sense" self-exploration app published by Spirited. This policy explains, in plain English, exactly what happens to your information when you use Sixth. The short version: in this version of the app, everything you do stays on your device, and we do not collect, sell, or share any of it.

Who we are

Sixth is developed and published by Spirited ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@sixthapp.com.au.

The short version

  • No accounts. You do not sign up, log in, or give us an email to use Sixth.
  • No data collection. We do not collect your personal information.
  • No tracking. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, no cookies.
  • Everything is stored locally. Your activity, statistics, achievements, settings, and optional profile are saved only on your device.
  • You are in control. You can erase everything from inside the app at any time (Settings, then Wipe all data).

What information the app handles

Sixth creates and stores a small amount of information on your device so the app can work and remember your progress between sessions. This information is saved in your device's local app storage and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else in this version of the app.

This on-device information includes:

  • Gameplay results and statistics - your rounds, correct/incorrect guesses, accuracy per mode and per symbol, your lifetime "Sense Score," streaks, and a history of your recent sessions.
  • Daily Challenge results - your completion record and streak for the deterministic daily sequence.
  • Achievements - which of the in-app achievements you have unlocked.
  • App settings - your chosen theme, session length, and preferences such as sound, haptics, the optional meditation timer, and the optional confidence rating.
  • Optional profile (local only) - if you choose to set up a leaderboard profile, the app stores a first name (or nickname) and a country that you enter yourself, plus the date you created the profile. This is entirely optional. The app does not require your real name, and you can enter anything you like. This profile is stored only on your device and is not sent anywhere in this version.

We do not ask for, access, or store: your real-world identity, email address, phone number, contacts, precise or coarse device location, photos, microphone or camera, health data, payment or financial details, or any device identifier used for tracking.

How the leaderboard works in this version

The leaderboard you see in this version of Sixth is generated entirely on your device. It is a synthetic, offline cohort used to give you something to compare against. It makes no network calls, and your name, country, and score are not transmitted to any server, to us, or to any other user. (See "Future changes" below for what would change if a real online leaderboard ships.)

No data collection, sharing, or selling

We do not collect your information off your device, so there is nothing for us to share or sell. Specifically:

  • We do not transmit your data off your device.
  • We do not use analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or attribution SDKs.
  • We do not use third-party SDKs that collect data.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not build advertising or marketing profiles about you.

No tracking

Sixth does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use any identifier (such as the Advertising Identifier / IDFA) for tracking. There is no behavioral advertising in Sixth.

Children's privacy

Sixth does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected or transmitted off the device, we do not gather data from children. The app contains no behavioral advertising and no third-party data collection. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, contact us at privacy@sixthapp.com.au.

Subscriptions and payments

This version of Sixth is free. There is no active subscription, and no purchase is required to use any feature. The app contains a subscription/paywall layer that is turned off in this version, so no purchase or billing takes place. If we enable paid features in a future version, any payment would be processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We would never receive or store your full payment card details.

How your information is protected

Because your information never leaves your device in this version, it is protected by your device's own security (your passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing). We hold no copy of your data on any server.

How to delete your data

You can erase everything Sixth has stored at any time:

  • Open Sixth.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Wipe all data and confirm.

This permanently removes your statistics, history, achievements, settings, and optional profile from your device. Deleting (uninstalling) the app from your device also removes all of this information.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any of your personal information on our servers, there is no personal data for us to look up, export, correct, or delete on our side. You have full and direct control over the only copy, which lives on your device, and you can erase it at any time using the steps above. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if we introduce the online leaderboard described below). When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, describe the change inside the app. Please review this page periodically.

Future changes - a planned online leaderboard

We want to be upfront about one planned change. We are developing a real cross-platform leaderboard (iOS, Android, and web) for a future version. It is not active in this version, and nothing described here happens today.

When that online leaderboard ships, if you choose to join it, the app would send the following to our leaderboard server so your entry can appear in the shared rankings:

  • the display name you choose,
  • the country you select,
  • your Sense Score / leaderboard score and the round counts behind it (such as rounds played and correct guesses) used to compute your standing, and
  • an anonymous identifier generated to keep your entry distinct (not linked to your real-world identity, your Apple ID, or any cross-app tracking identifier).

Even then, joining the leaderboard would remain optional, your detailed gameplay history and per-symbol statistics would still live only on your device, and we would update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that feature goes live. This section is provided for transparency about the future; it does not describe data collection in the current version.
